Is there an AI girlfriend with unlimited messages?

On a paid top plan, yes, by the apps’ own words. On a free plan, no. GirlfriendGPT’s top plan lists “Unlimited Messages,” and Nectar AI’s lists “Unlimited messaging.” Secrets AI puts “Unlimited messaging” on Premium, and Swipey AI’s paywall offers “Unlimited Chat Messages.”

What “unlimited” and “no filter” mean on these apps

“Unlimited” is a claim on a plan card, and the fine print can say something else. Nectar AI’s FAQ says, “Premium plans unlock unlimited messaging,” yet its plan data caps Premium at 6,000 and Pro at 9,000 messages a month.

Swipey AI’s paywall offers “Unlimited Chat Messages,” and its free plan counts every message in Hearts. I haven’t paid for any plan, so I can’t say how an “unlimited” plan behaves in use.

“No filter” usually means an 18+ switch, not the absence of moderation. Nectar AI’s Terms say the company “uses both automated filters and human review.” Lovescape says, “All messages exchanged between users and AI characters undergo automated checks.”

What to check before you pick one

Check the free cap, the cap on the plan you’d buy, and the content settings. Payment and refund rules for each app are in the Fine Print Index.

• Free cap. It ranged from 10 replies at GirlfriendGPT and Swipey AI to 15 at Nectar AI.
• Paid cap. Cheaper plans listed from 5,000 to 20,000 messages a month.
• Coins per message. Swipey AI charged 2 Hearts per message on the free plan.
• Content settings. Nectar AI starts with 18+ on, GirlfriendGPT starts on SFW, and Swipey AI has no switch at all.

Step 1: Pick an app and create an account

Pick an app by its free cap and its paid plans, then sign up with an email or a social login. None of the apps where I opened a free account asked for a card.

Step 2: Find the message counter

Look for the counter in your account settings, because most chats don’t show one. After my free messages ran out, Nectar AI’s Profile Settings showed “Messaging Quota (Basic): 0.”

GirlfriendGPT showed no count before the wall. At message 11, a window said, “You ran out of messages.” Its help page says free accounts can “send 10 free messages daily,” claimed by hand on its coins page.

Swipey AI shows its counter in the header as a Hearts balance. Mine started at 20, each message cost 2, and message 11 brought a window headed “Unlock Unlimited Chat Messages” on 10/17/2026.

Secrets AI’s wiki describes its free cap as “20 messages per day (resets daily, max 100 for custom characters),” tied to your device.

Step 3: Check what the paid plan includes

Read the message line on each plan card before you pay. Nectar AI’s Premium listed “6000 Messages/Mo” at $9.99/mo, in a free account opened from Tanzania on 10/16/2026. Its Pro plan listed 9,000.

GirlfriendGPT’s plans listed 5,000 and 20,000 messages a month, and its Elite plan listed “Unlimited Messages” at $50/mo on its plans page, seen from Tanzania.

Coins are a separate meter, counted apart from messages. A plan with no message cap can still charge for extras. GirlfriendGPT’s coin list prices an image at 10 coins and text-to-speech at 2 coins per 100 characters. Secrets AI’s Premium pairs “Unlimited messaging” with 8,000 Moments a month for images and calls.

Swipey AI sells one Premium plan for 1, 3, or 12 months. Its pricing page button read “$5.99 / month,” which matched the 12-month plan at $71.99 billed at once, at a checkout opened from Tanzania on 10/17/2026. One month cost $14.99. Lovescape’s plan cards count chips instead of messages: 600 a month on Premium and 3,000 on Creative PRO.
